A friend asked for a happy moment, I found one lying in the sun.
Big cat, little kitten.
Matthew Heil
6-9-03

Sunlight streams
on the carpeted ground.

Sleeping cats
with a purring sound.

Lazy day
in a patch of light.

Cuddled together
feels so right.

Simple pleasures
to be had.

How could this day
ever be bad?

As I look on
with a simple grin.

The sun beats down
upon his chin.

He opens his eyes
and looks at me.

His love flows in
and I am happy.
