The Cat

The cat wanders in all dozy from the heat of the sun.
A blissed out look upon his face
And moving slowly.

And, I know that if I were to rush over
And put my face in his fur and breath deeply,
I would be able to smell the sun.

Ah bliss, this moment frozen in time.
The senses aware , of
The sun, the day, and of course,
The cat.
