I loved the wrong woman.

Stained

Be close to me
in the role you play
yet speak deceit
and go away.

Then come again
and you cast your line
my will you bend
through speech divine.

You praise my hand
gently kiss my face
your awesome man
to another you race.

Does your mind care
your mouth is a liar?
My heart lain bare
in thistle and briar.

Now I reside
in more than just pain;
I live inside
an empty stain.
