Something to ponder
I don’t know

I don’t know
The power of magick

I don’t know
How it feels to fly
To touch the clouds
And go where I like

I don’t know
How to create a storm
From the pattering rain
To the flood of snow

I don’t know
How to see time
From predicting the future
To going back to the past

I don’t know
How to control the flame
From lighting a candle
To creating a bonfire

I don’t know
How to be one with nature
From simple meditation
To creating a forest

I don’t know
The burden of a mother
From having a human child
To creating a new species

I don’t know
The walk of the night
To taste blood on my lips
To be risen from a grave

I don’t know
The freedom of fearless
From climbing mountains
To going into battle

I don’t know
How to move with my mind
From summoning a book
To creating havoc with a thought

I don’t know
How to be invisible
To walk unnoticed
To spy unsuspected

I don’t know
The feel of religion
To be touched by God
Or the gods of Olympus

I don’t know
The love of a another
To be together forever
To be comforted with one kiss

I don’t know
The power of magick

But I do know
Of a girl
With no smile on her face
With too many tears in her eyes

Who is ignorant
But knows
Who is lonely
When not alone

With nothing to lose
But nothing to give
For the cause she believes
To see magick within

All she has left
And it is just a drop
The hope that maybe
Normal, she is not
