try to explain our paradox
Why couple death with creation?
Who says a life must end this way?
Why does darkness follow light?
What united night and day?

For every good thing, does an evil exist?
Does this double edged balance both save and destroy?
If I don't want to fight should I ever resist?
I'm a peaceful man riding a horse into Troy.

I never will say we are fated to madness,
Although for each dream a nightmare will spawn.
there's one thing to save me from rational sadness:
The opposite beauties of sunset and dawn.

In time we will lose all sublimation.
Our truths and our lies both will lay in the grave.
Only ripples of love carry on through creation,
those beautiful souls with forgotten names.
