Poem on a child's innocence. A tribute to my mom. Please read and give feedback.
~Dear Mommy~
By: DT

Dear mommy,
last night daddy came home.
He looked really sad.
He said you didn't feel good,
he said you were feeling bad.

What's wrong mommy?
Did I do anything wrong?
Is that why you can't stay home?
I promise I'll be good.
I miss you mommy.

I miss it when you tuck me in,
you read me a bedtime story,
when you'd give me a hug
and a good night kiss.
I miss your lullaby.

Dear mommy,
daddy told me last night
that you're gonna go.
He said that you're going somewhere,
and your gonna go soon.

When are you coming back mommy?
I'll wait for you mommy.
I'll wait for you with daddy.
Daddy said we'll visit you.
I love you mommy.

I miss it when you tuck me in,
you read me a bedtime story,
when you'd give me a hug
and a good night kiss.
I miss your lullaby.

Dear mommy,
Daddy and I visited you today,
but you were sleeping.
Daddy talked to the nurse,
then he was crying.

Where did you go mommy?
Why did daddy say you left already?
You're just sleeping on the bed.
I'm going to miss you so much when you're gone,
but I'll wait for you, mommy.

I miss it when you tuck me in,
you read me a bedtime story,
when you'd give me a hug
and a good night kiss.
I miss your lullaby.
