About facing finding oneself.
Here I stand on a void so deep
Should I step? Should I wait?
The courage I need to survive
Somehow escapes me in my mind;
Ahead of me the great unknown
Behind me all I've learned;
As I stand and look beyond
All my fears are confirmed;
The path I must follow, my life to be
Lies within the darkness.

I've traveled far, baring long
A burden threatening to crush me;
Hidden from me is my courage
And strength continues to elude me;
The task ahead is mine alone
For it was mine in creation;
I must step, I must enter
To find what I've searched for;
Into the darkness, Into the shadow,
Into the great beyond.

A girl has been missing for sometime
to the person most important.
She awaits rescue, inside the darkness
She is calling for me to find her.
She was deserted years ago,
Abandoned and discarded.
I will go, I will find her
And bring her back to the light.
I will save her from the abyss
And bring her essense to life.

She is my child deep within
Scared and afraid;
She cries for my protection
From the sorrow and the pain;
I will release her from it all
and enable her to grow.
Guiding her to the blessed places
Where sacred souls own
