in shadows it is hidden
Under Lock and Key

Under lock and key
the heart is kept
safe from
the world outside.

No air, no sun,
in shadows
it is hidden.

No kisses, no hugs,
no "I love you's"
color its soul at all.

Precautions carefully taken
to protect it
from a fall.
