A love struck warrior learns what he has truly became.
Sea of Stars ( STILL BEING WRITTEN)

The starlight gleams within your eyes,
as night begins with white moon rise.
You dance upon the glistening sand.
The wind swept surf, caressing your hand.

The wind sweeps down rustling your hair,
gold and silver, furling through the air.
A part of my dreams coming alive;
my hearts with you this starry night.

Forever on

My mind continues all through this night.
I think of the time when our love took flight!
The newness and joy, I felt in my heart.
I still can not bear, when we are apart.

I sleep at night with your sweet kiss,
slowly fading away, like a soft mist.
I remember sweet memories of times long ago,
but on this long journey I chose to go.

I hope you don't think I'll find someone new,
Though we are apart, I always choose you.
I wait for the day when peace shines above;
Forever you, I desire to love.

I fear

I fear not death, as the red sails come.
As arrows fly and comrades run.
With sword in hand, bloody and broke,
I think of you and my heart gains hope.

The dark sea lit, by burning ships.
I fly from the deck; we've been hit.
I strike the grasp of sea kings land,
Oh how my heart, wishes for your hands!

Floating and cold, I'm loosing strength,
I seem to be near the Deathlands brink.
My mind dwells, in darkness and drear,
To not see you again, is all I fear.

Cold

The fires dwindle, fading away.
The sea is crimson, from deaths cruel rays.
Splinters puncture my swelling hands,
the burdens of war, I do not understand.

Why am I forced to kill these souls?
What have they done to be so cold?
They have a life, perhaps a love far away.
Look what I've done, in the depths I should stay.

I cannot think of my many woes.
My body is slipping, I grow cold.
Where are you this dark, lonesome night?
My eyes no longer see your radiant light.

The shade of death

My legs are pulled, by forces of drear.
Falling away, I grasp for air.
Struggling and kicking, I've met the fate,
that I was destined to one day take.

I let go of life and the water surrounds,
dark hands snare me, I'm slowly pulled down.
I look up but once, to see life fade,
into the shadows of the blackest shade.

The Land of Eternity

When in death we are dead, but our soul is not.
I journeyed with swift to lands I've forgot.
Places of light and forevermore dreams,
the vales of mountains, of trees and streams.

I lyed in the grass, with the sun on my face,
from pain I was free, in this eternal place.
I reminisced slowly when I heard a voice say,
"This is not the time, Away, Away!"

The Deathlands

Myself I flew, away in haste.
What happened then, I find no trace.
For I found myself upon the shores,
of a land I knew but lost in lore.

Who was I, where had I been,
Was this the price of unforgivable sin?
I looked in my hand and saw the blade,
That with I had slew and life forbade.

Memories rushed back, before my eyes.
I fell to the ground, "Lies! Lies!"
Had I done what I saw so clear,
why was I spared and solemnly here?

I began to walk, not knowing why.
Down the coast, the land was dry.
Looking around this was not of life,
But a place of dread where the living plight.

A wraith of myself, I met on that beach.
It drew a sword stabbing, deep with a screech.
"See now what, you put upon others!"
It said with a cruel, sad sound to it's mutter.

I saw you, my love, run to my corpse.
Cupping my hands, tears falling course.
Your face was all red, I will never forget,
those words you spoke and in your heart admit.

"I Loved you so much, why did you go?
To again kill, a King overthrow?
With me you found love, but I not enough,
to quench your desire, to calm your true lust."

You paused for a moment then said a time last,
"I love you." Then slipped away fast.
I remember my tears, how silent they were,
the pain of the touch and of your last words.

The Return

Then before me with a great surge,
winds wrapped around with hands of urge.
Lightning flashed and thunder did shake,
I was tossed flying high, not complete was my fate.

I remember the stars as I came back to my land,
ever glimmering, brisking my hands.
Through the white clouds, to the darkining sea,
I returned to my corpse; renewed life indeed.

I kicked and struggled, until I saw land,
for I would return to you more of a man.
Knowing now of what was to come
if again I set out with the rumbling of drums.

The city was alive, or through my eyes it seemed.
From the ramparts high, the watchers had seen,
the battle forsaken and the destruction at last
of our tyrranical rule, what now was the past.

I could keep going, what do you think? Of course at this point I guess I have to!
