Just a short bit about flying.
First a glance, and then prepare to
Take a leap into the air, to
Fly above as none have dared to,
Except the birds themselves.

Circling up, and then go soaring,
Ups and downs, it's never boring,
All the while I am abhorring
The solid ground below.

To find the wind and then fly higher,
Soar high into the sky or
Use the height for extra speed or
Dive through the rushing air.

Swoop down and flare before striking
The ground, oh look: two people hiking,
They must see and be liking
My aeronautic display.

Finally, when the day has ended,
I return, not even winded,
Thrilled by what I there and then did:
I learned to fly.
