Mild satire about the way the young perceive the old
OLD MEN

Some are awkward.
Some are wayward.
Some are simply backward.
Some are, in fact,
Incapable
Of just moving forward.

Some are bumpy.
Some are grumpy.
And, some simply jumpy.
Some are in their
Old age even,
Rather too much impy.

Why throw a glance?
Why with them prance?
Or why accept a dance?
Why not simply
Just ignore them
And never give a chance?

They are too old,
And getting cold,
Yet they think they are bold.
Do encourage
And support them;
Give them your arm to hold.
