A revelation and call from the Creator
HILLTOPS
by Jacque Graham

Tonight I stood on a hilltop;
I know not why.
The wind blew, hit me,
Then passed me by.
I ran down,
Down, through flowers dense.
I was free and lacked all sense
Of time as I ran on.
I came to a wood.
The trees stood tall,
And still I ran on,
Unthinking through all.
I stumbled and fell,
And opening my eyes,
I beheld a small cloud
Pasted on reverent skies.
I lay in a trance
For the longest while....
Then I knew.

Tonight I stood on a hilltop;
I know now why.
God led me there
In the windy still.
He led me there
To show His will.
Then I see and run
And exhausted fall,
And He'll pick me up
When I answer His call.
