This is a poem about joy and tragic loss.
I ran and skipped through lavender fields, hand in hand with my lover
We danced and laughed in lavender fields, holding close to each other
Then rains fell down in lavender fields and thunder sounded on high
Fire fell in lavender fields and I watched my lover die
