acidify the soul,
corroding arteries motion.
By-passing
the fluid of life
to the heart.


The body oozes
like a cracked bowl,
unable to retain life's potion.
Seeping downward,
pooling on the floor
from the acidic dart.


Erosion from within
creates a hole.
Imagine a healing lotion.
Forgiveness,
a needed band-aid for life,
and a new start.
