A simplistic poem inspired by a purr.

Adoring eyes look up at me,
Gazing deep into my soul.
Accepting, loving tenderly.
Embracing me as a whole.

Slowly love pours into purr
And paws start paw-pawing.
Big eyes close contentedly.
Relaxing, comforting.

Any anguish chased away
By a tiny ball of fur.
Replacing dreams of yesterday
With a smile at that soft purr.
