A brief shining moment enduring in eternity. First Place, Spidey's Weekly Contest.
I stared up just in time.
         It shot across the night sky slowly...
                   Yet with speed beyond comprehension.

It left behind a luminous trail.
         Like the flash of a camera...
                   Fading.

                   Many nights ago...
                             Almost in a dream...

I made a wish and it was gone.
         Leaving my wish unfulfilled...
                   Yet, satisfying my senses.

Shooting stars last only a moment,
         But the impression lingers on...

                   Forever...
