A silly little poem written for a contest, it had to have one of the listed titles.

Silence was broken by a four year old's cry.
I listened intently and knew it was safe.
Putting down the remote, I began to sigh.
I approached my son slowly, the little naif.

"Daddy, Daddy, I have lost all my kisses."
I bent to kiss his cheek and said, "There you are."
His crying increased and sounded like hisses,
So while hugging him close, I looked near and far.

In the corner I spied the family dog.
Brown was covering both his slobbering lips.
It spat out tin foil on the fireplace logs,
So we went to the kitchen for chocolate chips.
