The beast lives within...
It’s watching…
And waiting…
Feeling you…
Feeding from your…pain
The monster lives,
Inside you…
It comes forth from the shadows.
Creeping…
Crawling…
Slithering…
Into your room,
Waiting for you…patiently
Looking in the mirror… you see it
This horrid thing
Throatless and unspeaking…
…but knowing the truth…
What is it?
The monster you fear is nothing more…
Than the shadow of the thing you have become…
The beast lives within.
