Sweet dreams of lady fair disappear into the air




Take the essence of the night
With all its mystic charms.
Mix it with my dreams of love
When you are in my arms.

To dream my dreams of lady fair
Is what I long to do.
No longer in reality
Can you be born anew.

For in the swiftness of the night
Where charging horses roam.
You are the essence of my life
If only in a poem.
