Never knew

Dreams whispered what is craved
Daylight chases the dreams away
Hidden

Mahogany hair passes, heart skips face flushes
Try not to notice, be something anything else
Denial

The smell of fire and hot chocolate, a quite time
Cold halls edged with lockers, echo fear
A life time ago

Internally screaming for release
A caged animal wounded
Fear

Time passes, growth happens
Hope replaces fear
Strength

Light touches the dream and gives life
Freedom is reached
Self knowledge
