Written to that line option, for The "Yeah Right!" Contest.
My friend says that I’m not a Lady,
Simply ‘cause I’m just a kid.
I think she’s wrong; I’m quite grown up.
She doesn’t know the littlest bit.

I’m looking at my mom’s big mirror,
Borried a pretty dress from her.
On my feet are granny’s slippers
Made from wonderful fake fur.

I raided mommy’s make-up box,
All pretty colours on my eyes.
I thought ‘bout using her earrings
But I did not think that wise.

I do know that a Lady needs them
So worked on that right from the start.
I got two pennies and my glue
And glued them to my ears, I’m smart!

Now, who says I am not a Lady?
My dress is way better than Jennie's.
Nope, she can’t say anything, ‘sides
I have earrings made of pennies!
