HIS CHURCH

On the byways,
Near the highways,
Stands a structure
Strong and sure.

And the steeple,
And its people,
Preach of Love
So sweet and pure.

Christ came to Earth
Of human birth
So God could
Draw us near.

He shared God's love,
Brought from above,
The end of
All our fear.

His church stands strong
Against the wrongs
Of yesteryear
And now.

If we would hear
The truths so dear
Our lives would change
I vow!
