A poem I scrawled under a drawing a made during 5th period.. How I feel about growing up
Gently down the stream, I row,
Past memories, enchanted.
In this boat of dreams and pine,
I drift, I drift, I drift.

Gnarled branches block the sun,
A cold wind shivers through,
My destination is unknown,
I wait, I wait, I wait.

Farther down the stream, I float.
And the waters now grow rough.
Like a ragdoll, I am thrown about,
I fear, I fear, I fear.

The waters calm, I turn a bend.
A mist settles upon me.
A faint and distant light appears.
I wonder, wonder, wonder.

A far off roaring meets my ears.
And the light grows brighter still.
I feel the rush of deathly speed,
I cling, I cling, I cling.

The rumble now is deafening.
The light is blinding now.
And through the fog I see a drop,
I pray, I pray, I pray.
