Modern poem about music. (wrt:October 2004).
Conroy, No Parallel

Conroy's trying to come to terms with that.

Sensationalism is a reality to interpret

Year by year. He doesn't know if he still

Creates it for his fame, or whether he has to be drawn in

To the musical texture and density; it's hard for people to follow

Without having been exposed before.

He creates it tonally, but I don't know if he's got a parallel.

Tonally, with technique and statement alters.

Conroy'd be a good character; he's understated,

So he can be in and out of scenes and

Participate in the conversation.

He's thinking about whether he creates it for me?

Hey, Conroy, don't you think that I came to terms

With sensationalism when I was happy or mad

Or a character; I don't know if someone was

Creating anything during that?

I always think it was from me.

Over the years, you lose that side of it; where does that leave him afterwards?

Creating it for who? I guess it's better than feeling nothing, ha, ha, ha.
