Written after Columbine
"Cruelty to one's fellow man does not exist in the punishments handed out to correct behavior, nor in the damage inflicted, but rather, the cruelest thing that one can do is to be indifferent to them, thus withholding the gifts of knowledge and understanding, allowing them to go forward in life, never to advance and grow with the learned knowledge and life experiences of others, becoming what they may,shaped by nothing,to ultimately become what was most feared from the beginning."
