Poem about the universe
DREAM TRAVELER

I travel into the vortex of eons past,
Plumes bright of destruction released,
Chaos tamed in helium birth.

I lose myself in swirling clouds,
Crush of vapor, incandescence,
Rings of brilliance, holes of darkness.

I wander in kingdoms immense,
Red skies within columns crystal,
Things bizarre of alien built.

I witness at war two races furious,
One tall and clad iridescent,
One broad and rainbow furred.

I fantasize of intelligence weird,
Me of carbon and she of silver,
Someone imagination dreamed.
