The title says it all.
Lord, I believe in You!
I know I haven't told You lately, but I do.
Sometimes life just seems so hopeless
And I'm really out of touch.
Then I remember when my heart was new...
I used to love You oh, so-o much!
Back when my heart was young and tender
And around it were no walls.
Fresh new happiness surrounded me,
For I gave each day my all!

And You know... I still believe in You!
I know I haven't told You lately, but I do.
I believe in Your gentle touch.
I believe in Your smile.
I believe in Your sovereignty.
I’m humbled as a child.
I believe in Your eyes of love.
The blessed way that You forgive.
Yes, I believe You're still the One I knew,
It's just the fellowship I miss.

Please, don't give up on me!
It's through Your mercy that I now can see,
Back in Your arms is where I want to be!

My eyes had grown so tired and full of doubt
For all the struggles that I've gone through.
My heart was weak and weary
For all the burdens that I've borne.
I had lost sight of the fact
That I needn't do it all without You!
I remember now that the love You have is TRUE!

Lord, clear my mind and open my heart
And help me now to see...
Your love grows!
It cannot stay the same forever,
Lest it die.
Our daily trials and tribulations are not a testament of failure,
But a stepping stone to greater love
That, without them, we couldn't know.
So please, don't go!

I still believe in You!
Help me to love You more each day I live!
And I know each day You'll see me through,
For in You life's not in vain.
Though much of me is ever changing,
All of You remains the same!

Lord, I still believe in You!
I know I haven't told You lately, but I do!
I lift my head up high
And with a sigh,
Release the anger from within.
To really see how far I've come,
I must remember where I've been.
So, in spite of the rocky past
There doesn't have to be an end.
I'll keep on going,
But only with "new eyes", once again.

Help me see the beauty each possesses,
Not the faults I must endure.
And I'll be stronger.
I'll be happy, too...
'Cause I believe in You!
Yes, I believe in You!
