A heroin addict's dying words.
The ocean waves will soon take my life
This seems fitting; I began to drown long ago
Needle and heroine, you became my wife
We were once so high, and you've dropped me so low

Princess of the poppy, you have forsaken me
Your lies and pleasures have amounted to white dust
You said that my bruised arms were lovely
My heroine, all we had was lust

Goodbye heroine, my time has expired
Go find a new being to sell your delights
For death is the only thing to which I can aspire
I bid you farewell on my last of dark nights.
