A melody to a son concerning his youth.
In the rain, umbrellas twirling,
stomping of feet, what a fine fella!
Laughing, smiling, preoccupied so,
images of you so long ago.

Crazy and lazy, you rock-a-bye sway,
bright little punkster, Grandmother’s babe.
Hipster and tripster, you grinning so bright,
One little package, a family’s delight.

Yearning and churning your energy spent,
fighting and howling finding content.
Singing and winging your mind in a whirl,
chasing and praying for one little girl.

Birthdays and play days, growing so high,
striving and finding pride in your life.
Moving and shaking, finding the means,
grabbing the rope, lassoing your dreams.

Tuesday, Wednesdays, Aquarius born,
playful, and hopeful for destiny's horn.
Agile and witty, discreet, so true blue,
Here is the love i'm sending to you.
