IRISH LIMERICKS

There once was a girl from Killarney,
Who had heard every man's blarney;
But true love came her way
When she met one fine day
A young man whose name was McCarney!

There once was a lass from Kildare
With lovely long golden hair;
She cut off her tresses
To buy some new dresses
To wear to the Kildare Spring fair!

A man from Killarney was he,
Full of mischief and malarky;
He was down on his luck
Till he sold his old truck
Now his pockets are full of money!

The banshee was howling with glee
As death came upon my pappy -
But Pappy rose out of bed,
and said "I'M NOT DEAD!
I'm just feeling rather crappy!"

A sweet Irish lassie named Rose
Liked to feel the grass with her toes;
She was taken by surprise
and could not believe her eyes
When her toes turned green as her clothes!
