i dont know why they do it...but when friends break a trust it hurts real bad
I tell a tale of deceit,
Of smiles wrapped in jealousy
Of comforting words meant to betray
Of actions that killed so slowly!
I write with the blood from my wounds
Inflicted by those I trusted
I was ambushed in the dark by those
With whom I thought I was protected!
I narrate my own death
At the hands of my own friends
I tell a tale of betrayal
Of lies built upon lies
Of broken promises
Of a trust crushed into a thousand pieces
I burn in the flames of a fire
That is colder than the snow itself
A fire fueled by my blood
From my soul emerge fountains
Of tears, of suffering, of darkness
That, create insurmountable mountains
Which block out all light!
Imagine the pain of a thousand needles poked
And you shall begin to comprehend
The pain they put me through
The memories which they gave,
To haunt and destroy me
While they silently dug my grave!
Wounded, I find solace
In the arms of friends or a friendly place
I embraced them when I came out from the dark
But they drove a dagger through my heart!
