A silent smile that haunts long after the love is gone.
SILENT SMILE

As I look back in my thought
Or dream in lonely moment,
What is it that haunts me yet,
Is it your silken garment?

Is it your soft,fragrant skin?
Or, does me your body charm?
Do I brood at your love talk?
Do your sweet songs me disarm?

No, though all these mean to me
That you are with me always,
The one glimpse, fleeting vision
Of your so hesitant face,

Which is engraved in my heart,
Is that lovely silent smile,
Which has so enriched my life,
Though it lasted just a while!
