An acrostic poem that hits close to home.
A silent thief looting a beautiful mind
Losing precious memories of the present and past
Zero hope for recovering them
Having to say goodbye to the one you love
Even though she is physically present
Inside her mind she struggles, so lost and weary
Murdered by the thief that steals who she is
Eventual hopelessness of regaining her identity
Reluctantly burdened by darkness and grief
Stolen from, frightened, and alone
