a poem about a friend who betrayed
You said I could trust you,
So I did,
But you just messed me up.
You got into my head,
My life,
My secrets,
Everything about me,
You knew it.

Not once,
Did I not confide in you,
You were the first person,
That I would run to.
I told you anything,
And everything.

You just made up lies,
So I would tell you more.
But now I know the truth,
So I'm always on guard,
Watching my back,
Ready to put up my fists,
And attack.

So thanks,
For teaching me a lesson,
Not to trust anyone,
Not even,
Your closest of friends.
In the end,
They'll just turn on you,
And mess you up,
Like you did me.
