This poem is about a girl who is in love, but cant bear the pain of getting hurt.
Please don’t look in my eyes,
I don’t want you to see that I’m broken inside.
Please don’t try to brush away my tears,
I’m scared to death with all my childish fears.
I don’t want you to sooth my heart,
My soul is being ripped apart.
I don’t want you to leave,
But I don’t want you to know how easy I bleed.
Please don’t try to fall in love with me,
I wont be able to stand the misery.
Please don’t let me fall in love with you,
It wont be able to last, its true.
I don’t want you to walk away,
But the devils calling: time to pay.
I don’t want to say good-bye,
But got to be strong, don’t cry.
I don’t want this to be the last kiss,
Yet before we go, one last wish.
I want you to tell me one final thing,
That this wasn’t just a fling.
Time’s up, got to go,
Love hurts, it goes to show.
