The table has turned; Chrisitanity is not safe, but the local witches know how to help.
The sun was just melting into the horizon, the zenith giving the forest a mystical glow. Jacob rushed through the low-lying branches, and finally made his way into the small clearing. The bag slung over his shoulder dropped onto the ground, and unzipped. He pulled out two white candled, and his Mothers expensive crystal candleholders. He placed the white candles in the holders, and removed a box of matches. Removing a small blanket, he laid it on the grass, sat Indian-style, and lit the candles. Placing the candle evenly in front of him, Jacob then pulled out the Bible from his bag, and opened it up to a book-marked place.
