once again your freedom is gone
but in your head it has not dawned

with a car, with a smoke, with a bong

a second chance is only fair
you lost that red-handed on the stair
we were prepared to put it in the past
third and fourth chances lost like the last

you blew your shots one by one
all in the name of a little fun
that kind of fun comes with a price
you bet fate and rolled the dice

a gambling addict who bets his life
debts graver than coin is your strife
time and again we hoped you would learn
to your fingers you’ve let that match burn

many had given you their trust
that number diminished with every bust
the tortured victim you keep playing
when it’s at jail you are staying

a wish of death is your fix
and who put you in this mix
who took away your dreams of fun
who took away that glowing sun

you have only you to blame
for your anger and your pain
plentiful choices were there to use
and each in turn you did abuse

that quantity has now shrank
and who do you have to thank
thank your lack of common sense
can someone really be so dense

now, the options left will be tough
don’t lose them with another bluff
be prepared to work very hard
to find and pick up every shard

to reconstruct what you destroyed
those lives with which you had toyed
so now take this straight to heart
as you join each broken part

every crack will still remain
as reminders of the pain
you caused to you

who tire of this game
