Can heaven be all joy, if loved ones are lost?
Eternity granted as immortal gift,
Unwrapped through freedom's choice;
Surety of Love so undeserved,
In forgiveness washed, and yet-
Can such joy be complete?

For not all choice is mine to make-
Love's bond grants hope alone.
I cannot make this choice for you.
'Tis yours alone to keep or cast away.
Will you make of freedom gift or curse?
