Brain Violation

For fifty years,
Doc Harvey
had Einstein's brain
in a jar.
Mute,
pickled genius,
a totem cerebellum.

Neurologists now suggest
brains
have memory pits.
Lacunal, neural cells
coded for hits
of Paris Hilton.

Will you pick
Einstein's brain,
or mine?
The fall of the auction hammer--
fair warning.
Lot one,
fasicles of brain,
stained by the mundane.
A legally blonde
brain violation.
