Word search related to my version of Little Red Riding Hood
Part One
When she was younger, Little Red was the loveliest little girl in town. She had long silky hair the colour of chocolate and beautiful green eyes that melted the hearts of many young boys. She had a sweet, sing-song voice and everybody loved her. But the second she hit the age of thirteen, she became a surly chav. She swapped her cute hand-knitted cardigans for a ruby red hoodie, and her tricycle for a graffiti covered skateboard. She became known as Little Red Riding Hoodie.
But although Little Red acted well hard, she still had a soft spot for her Granny. Every day, she would ride through the forest on her skateboard to visit her little old Granny.
“EEEE GRAN! It's me, Little Red, brap brap!”
And Granny would invite her in and they would drink whiskey together. Granny would always tell Little Red “Have some whiskey, child. It makes you feel better!”
One day though, Gran ran out of whiskey. She yelled down the phone “Send Little Red with whiskey!”
So Little Red found the finest whiskey in town and set of through the woods to see Granny.
“Eee, Gran. The things I do for you, man,” she muttered.
She was skating so fast, she didn't notice the wolf walk in front of her. They collided, and Little Red's skateboard shattered into pieces.
“Bloody hell woman! That board of yours is lethal! I think you broke one of my toenails,” the Wolf howled, nursing his perfectly manicured claws.
“Never mind you! You broked me board!” Little Red wailed, getting an attack of Snotty Nose. The Wolf wrinkled his snout, for he was not good with crying children.
“I guess we can call it even. Say, do you know where I might be able to get some of the finest human salad in the land?”
“Eeee, I don't mix with wolves, me! I'm off to see me gran, the hardest old bat in the land. She well sick our gran.”
“You don't mean...the legendary Granny Red?”
“Yeah, what is it to you, brap? Man, you mixed up in da head. Cya laters.”
She began to run off.
“Wait!” the Wolf cried, “May I accompany you on your long and...perilous journey through the woods?”
“I don't need no help, matie. I is da strongest bird in town, lad.”
“How about to please a lonely Wolf?”
“Eeee, no way man! You has got fleas and everythin'. Don't wanna catch nuttin. Get lost, fur ball.”
“Hang on!” the Wolf said, his furry belly rumbling. He desperately wanted some fresh Granny and chav for his tea “What if I knew where the finest whiskey in the world was? And what if I said it is stored in the caves near your Gran's house?”
Little Red cocked her head to the side, intrigued “Yeah. Dat would please our Gran. Take me there, dude.”
“It’s a deal,” the Wolf grinned, baring his yellowed teeth at Little Red. He took her small hand in his furry paw and they shook. It was a done deal.
