Holiday Reminders Holiday is such a joyous time to spend with family and friends. Sometimes, with our busy lives we forget what is most important about the holidays and find it difficult to get into the "Christmas spirit." People deal with loss of loved ones, financial hardships, all kinds of stress that make it hard to come back to a place of giving and joy. Christmas isn't about money, toys, etc. It is totally and completely about loving each other and the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Traditions are a wonderful help in bringing back memories of past holidays and feeling the peace for just one day. I love this time of year when people open their hearts to others in need, reconcile differences with people from their past, and share openly more than any time of the year. I hope these words help in bringing someone back to some of the wonderful things that make this time of year so special. I am wishing you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! |
