How the rich exploit the poor.
BARTER

Some till the land and grow the grain,
Some buy and then sell it.
The former fill others’ tummy,
The latter their pocket.

Some cannot make the two ends meet,
Some have many treasures.
The former have to sweat it out,
The latter have pleasures.

The pleasures flow from the bus’ness
Of bartering labour
For money, as if they’re doing,
The former a favour.
