Clouds of memories, some tepid, some tumultuous.
LAYERS OF CLOUDS

My mind is entangled in
Layers of clouds and thoughts;
Some of them are forgotten,
Some linger in odd slots.

Too faint and remote are now
The early memories,
When as a toddler I dreamed
Of witches and fairies.

Memories of school days do
Bring back the olden times,
When I was content with just
A few nickels and dimes.

But the thoughts and memories
Of youth, like a cloud-burst,
Haunt me yet from the day of
My ill fated love first.

Since then every day of my
Life has become a test.
Beneath this turbulent cloud,
Others are now at rest.
