** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Welcome to the Secret Admirer's Group! Some of you may remember the Secret Admirer Groups and Contests I used to hold here on W.com many years ago. All of my old projects and groups were deleted when I left the site 5 years ago. After much debate, I have finally remade the Secret Admirers. The goal of this group is to spread a little happiness to fellow members and to help people get to know other members who they may not have had the opportunity to meet. This is how it works: Group members are assigned an Admiree to whom they send anonymous gifts each month they participate and in turn they are also assigned an Admirer who will send them anonymous gifts in return. Each member is both an Admirer and an Admiree. Admirer - person who sends gifts. Admiree - person who receives gifts. At the end of each month I will send an email to all group members asking whether or not they will be participating the following month. For those who choose to participate I will randomly assign an Admiree to them as well as an Admirer who will be sending them gifts. I keep a list of who is assigned to whom in order to ensure that members are not assigned the same person twice. If, by chance, you are assigned someone who you have previously been assigned, or are assigned to someone with whom you do not get along, you MUST let me know as soon as possible so that I can re-arrange the list and assign you to someone else. If you have chosen to participate for a certain month but find you are unable to fulfill your obligation to your Admiree you must contact me as soon as possible so that I can find a fill-in to supply your Admiree with their remaining gifts. This also works the other way around - if you have not received at least one gift from your Admirer after the first 2 weeks of the month you must contact me so that I can find out what the issue is. If you wish to gift your Admiree with an item but cannot afford it please contact me as well. The group will store gp to help members out with their gifts. DO NOT JOIN THIS GROUP IF A) You do not have at least 3 items in your port that are available to be reviewed. B) You do not think you will be able to honor your obligation to your Admiree. C) There is a possibility that you may be leaving the site before the end of the month. Members are NOT required to participate every month. We understand if there are issues where you will be away for awhile or don't have the time or gp to participate. You are allowed to opt out of participating for 3 months before you will be removed from the group unless you contact me beforehand. Members who do not fulfill their obligations to their Admirees and do not contact me before the month is out will be removed from the group. It is not meant to be mean, but if you short your Admiree and don't give me the opportunity to compensate them you are being unfair to that person. What you must be willing to gift your Admiree: At a minimum:  3 anonymous c-notes! 3 anonymous reviews of the Admirer's choosing! 1 larger gift of the Admirer's choosing (merits badges, awardicons, raffle tickets, signatures (as long as the Admiree is able to have sigs in their port), costumicons etc depending on what the Admirer deems appropriate and the amount of funds the Admirer has available).The amount and type of gifts you give your Admiree are up to you. You may give more that what is listed above - but NO LESS! Since I am unable to "anonymously" assign myself an Admirer or Admiree I run "Invalid Item"  where people may nominate w.comers NOT in the group to receive anonymous gifts for the month. I would prefer if members posted in the Group Forum when they receive gifts from their Admirer. This makes it easier for me to keep track of members who have not been keeping up their obligations to their Admiree - Plus it makes it easier for your anonymous Admirer to see that you have gotten your gifts.
