Remembering to nurture love - a love poem.
Whether love is truly wanted,
It boasts a truth that isn’t flaunted.
Must I stem the tide, undaunted,
While my nature’s wildly taunted?

Fence that’s sold, chain-linked for picket,
Shall keep the mold, endure the stick-it.
Cars and home, outside the thicket,
Left to waste, while love’s the ticket.

Love’s the ticket, and a vibe,
The champagne clinks, so just imbibe.
Mirrors somewhat seem a bribe,
That dedication to the tribe.

Masters strategize their plan,
God’s gift to every woman, man,
So every guy and lady can
Endure that most egregious span.

Knowing that our welcome mat
Pertains to all the morsels that
Must feed the most outrageous cat
I doubly lay my coat and hat.
