Two little girls share with each other

From beyond the cellophane window,
Pass the Blue Bell Bonnets,
Across the lush, green grass
Two fun-loving, little girls
With sundresses blowing in the wind,
Stand on the cracked sidewalk
Giggling with unabashed glee.
One swoops her hair behind her ear,
While the other one slowly leans
Toward the expecting, exposed ear.
A hand shoots up to cover her mouth,
And trap the words within.
What fun it is to talk and share
Between two of the best of friends!
