Reflecting on Winter
Last night I was lying in bed listening to large chunks of snow falling from the roof. I began to reflect on winter.  I think there should be a time limit on how long this season lasts, thermostat controls on how low the temperature is allowed to drop, and  a definite limit on snow fall.

Really, someone needs to speak to Old Man Winter, Mother Nature, and that pesky little rodent, Groundhog.  Winter must be driven out to make way for spring.

But, winter seems to drag on and on.  I’ve nearly exhausted my stack of winter reading, crocheted up all my wool, and scrapped all my photos.  It’s too cold to go outside and one can only drink so much hot chocolate!  I’ve begun adding Bailey’s to my coffee on a regular basis, and even that isn’t helping.

The snow was pretty at first, but now it is dirty, mixed with sand and salt, which has ruined my boots and made a terrible mess of my floors.

Please, Old Man Winter,  go away!  You are not wanted here.
