Poem concerning unwanted gift for Dec Advent Challenge
December 1st came around
and was greeted with a frown.
All year long, you act like a clown
when asking me what Santa could bring down.
I gave you subtle hints,
but they flew past you like bits of lint.
We've been together many years,
yet you fail to get shopping task in gear.
If on Christmas Day
your gift is something for me to prepare,
you best run faster than the hare.
