...a brief synopsis of my daughter's character. She is my favorite living person.

I watch my daughter being wheeled in a clear plastic baby basket---naked, pushing up while lying on her stomach. Can an infant resemble an earnest child watching television? She does... ever strong and curious from the beginning.

Growing up and into adulthood, life’s lessons hit hard; wavering, yet this little lady rises to every affront. Always good---she is kindhearted, forgiving and eager to help others. Though somewhat messy, she also relishes order and cleanliness.

Today at thirty-six, her smile still makes the sun shine brighter, and I groan when she cries.

I am sure God laughed with joy the day Clarissa Rae became a sparkle in his eye.
