A poem about a rowing race in the Berlin Olympics 1936.
From humble beginnings
Roots encumbered
A history of struggles
Hardships depicted
Unpredictable patterns
Streaks of vibrant colours
Although fragile like cobwebs
in the evening breeze,
theirs was a poem of motion.
A symphony of swinging
In harmony, balance, and rhythm.
As they reached for gold,
the perfumed cedar, the spicy sweet aroma,
effervesced into mystery.
Beauty unfolding.
